Who Qualifies

• You may be eligible to participate in this settlement if you meet the following criteria:
• You were living in the United States at the time of the September 2021 Pawn America data breach
• Your personal information was potentially compromised as a result of that breach
• You received a data breach notification from Pawn America, or your information was otherwise affected
• You submit a valid claim form by the July 6, 2026 deadline
• Note: Documentation such as receipts or account statements is required only if you are claiming reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses. No documentation is required to claim the flat cash payment.

What You May Receive

Eligible claimants may receive one of the following forms of compensation, depending on their circumstances:

• Documented Losses: You may receive up to $5,000 in reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses that are reasonably traceable to the data breach, provided you submit supporting documentation such as receipts or account statements.
• Flat Cash Payment: If you do not have documented losses, you may still receive an estimated $30 cash payment simply for being a class member. California residents may receive an additional $50, for an estimated total of $80.

Actual payment amounts may be adjusted proportionally depending on the total number of valid claims filed. No payout amount is guaranteed.

2. Complete the claim form by providing your personal information and selecting the type of claim you are filing (documented losses or flat cash payment).
3. If you are claiming reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses, gather and attach supporting documentation such as receipts, account statements, or other relevant records. No documentation is required for the flat cash payment.
4. Submit your completed claim form by the deadline of July 6, 2026. Late submissions may not be accepted.
